With a knack for getting the most out of available resources, I am excellent at inspiring productive teams while remaining within established budgets.
I am a motivational speaker, passionate when advocating for outreach efforts in my community. My speaking engagements include sessions at the 2017 Marigold Member Libraries Workshop and the 2018 Southern Alberta Library Conference.
Under my leadership, the Hanna Municipal Library won the 2017 Marigold Library System Making a Difference Award for the Youth Employment Training Project that I created. After redesigning the Hanna Municipal Library summer reading program, increasing registrations by 126% in the process, and winning a contest for engaging teens in a reading program.
Five years as an active board member for the Hanna Food Bank Association while also serving on multiple community coalitions is evidence of my love of community involvement.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University, I combine strategies founded in communication principles with my history of data analytics and reporting, providing effective visualizations for all aspects of business documentation.
